Cookies and browser storage
Updated: 1 October 2026.
The LinDom website uses cookies and storage provided by your browser. These help manage consent choices, language selection and the booking interface. Browser storage is different from cookies; they are described separately below.
Open cookie settingsConsent settings
You can choose from the categories offered in the cookie settings. The moove_gdpr_popup cookie stores your choice so that the website can use the corresponding settings.
The consent cookie currently lasts 365 days. You can change your choice later in the cookie settings.
Language selection and booking state
When you manually choose a language, the website writes the language code to your browser’s localStorage.
The language entry contains a validity date 180 days ahead. This does not mean that the browser automatically deletes localStorage data after 180 days.
The booking interface keeps your programme, masseuse and appointment choices in sessionStorage for the current browser tab so that it can restore them after a page refresh.
The booking interface uses the saved state for up to 6 hours after it was last saved. This is an application validity check, not an exact time at which the browser storage is deleted.
The result message for a submitted request is also stored for the current browser tab; the booking interface uses it for up to 1 hour. The entry contains the result type, a link to the booking management page and the requested appointment time.
The booking interface does not write the contents of the name, email and phone fields to these booking-state and result-message entries. This statement concerns browser storage, not the server-side processing of submitted booking data.
The cookie panel may also use sessionStorage to temporarily retain consent state and manage dismissal of the information bar. These entries have no separate expiry expressed in hours or days.
Traffic measurement
Google Analytics 4 (GA4) measures website usage after consent to statistics cookies. Statistical measurement of actions in the booking interface requires the same consent.
Google Analytics uses the _ga and _ga_* cookies for statistical measurement.
How can you change the settings?
You can reopen the cookie settings to change your consent choices for the categories offered.
Your browser settings can also delete or restrict cookies and browser storage for this website. localStorage and sessionStorage are separate storage types; deleting cookies does not necessarily delete both.
If browser storage is blocked or cleared, you may need to choose your language and booking options again, and your selections may not be restored after a page refresh.
Open cookie settingsStorage used by the website
The table distinguishes cookies, persistent browser storage and storage for the current browser tab. Validity checked by an application does not always equal the time when the entry is physically deleted.
| Name | Storage | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
moove_gdpr_popup | Cookie | Remembers choices for consent categories. | 365 days |
lindom.language.preference.v1 | localStorage | The manually selected language code and its validity marker. | A 180-day validity marker; this does not automatically delete the localStorage entry. |
lindom-booking-state-v1:* | sessionStorage | Restores the selected programme, masseuse and appointment time in the booking interface. | 6-hour application validity from the last save; sessionStorage. |
lindom-booking-receipt-v1:* | sessionStorage | A submitted request’s result message, booking management link and requested appointment time. | 1-hour application validity; the booking interface deletes an invalid entry at its next check. |
gdpr_session | sessionStorage | Temporarily retains consent state. | sessionStorage for the current browser tab; no separate time-based expiry. |
gdpr_infobar_hidden | sessionStorage | Records temporary dismissal of the information bar. | sessionStorage for the current browser tab; no separate time-based expiry. |
_ga / _ga_* | Cookie | Statistical measurement of website use. | Google’s default setting is 2 years; browsers may apply a shorter duration. The duration checked in the current Chromium measurement was 400 days. Expiry may renew with activity. |
